Owl Pellets

As most of you know, we had a few regular owl visitors in our backyard all winter. They seem to have moved on for the summer, but they've left their mark on our yard. I had seen a dirty jobs episode about owl vomit and never knew they did that. It said that after they ate a mouse or whatever they vomited all the fur and bones and such back up and Mike Rowe, the dirty jobs host, had to collect the owl pellets. I thought it was kind of interesting....until they covered my backyard with pellets. So here they are!

Lots and lots of owl pellets......ew

yuck.
I remember that episode...how funny, all you have to do is move to ID & voila: owl pellets galore!
So, what do you do w/ them? - Rake them up & dispose of them?

Glad I could help! :)

Well so far, I've done nothing with them. Lol. They are in the backyard and we aren't back there much, so they will probably just stay there.
