Honeymoon in St. Lucia

So as most of you know, we went to St. Lucia for our honeymoon. It was the most amazing tropical paradise. It probably would have been even more amazing if we had gotten our luggage! It's actually quite a story...first when we had gotten to buffalo to fly out, they told us that we needed paper tickets to get on the plane. We never received paper tickets. About an hour and a half later we had to buy new tickets through a different airline just to get to Boston that night. Then we never received our luggage in Boston (where we had to overnight) but they assured us that they would be a day behind us when we got to St. Lucia. Each day we would go to the front desk at the resort. Everyone at the front desk knew us by name by the end of the week. We finally gave up hope of ever receiving our luggage while we were down there. We caught up with our luggage again back in Boston. When we got to Buffalo we only had one checked bag, which never made it back to Buffalo. This is also the bag that had our car keys in it so we couldn't even get home from the airport! We were both expecting people with cameras to come out and say that we were being video taped and it was all a joke. It was so ridiculous and frustrating at the time. Someday we'll look back and laugh and have a great story to tell.....someday.


This is us saying, "please send our luggage so we don't have to buy anymore $200 outfits!!!!

One of the funnest (yes, dad...funnest haha!) things we did was parasailing. Everybody should parasail! Here we are waiting for our launch site.

We are the speck in the sky. It was the most amazing view, it was so calm and serene up there. I would do it again in a heart beat!

One of the other awesome things we did was zip lining through the rain forest canopy. Here we are looking special in our gear!

St. Lucia was beautiful and I recommend that everyone goes, but I also recommend going with your luggage! :)
