We have trees!!! (trees are very scarce out here....) I miss the fall foliage very, VERY much!

We even have an apple tree...I didn't know this until today...haha!

The cactus garden. Weeding could get interesting...

Coming into the house. A friendly reminder for Jed and Izzy:)

The living room. A bit cluttered with boxes and such still. The light fixture may be the first thing we change in this room. It drives me nuts. I like the stone fireplace...they used volcanic rock which is all over Idaho.

This is looking out from the living room and up into the kitchen. We have our computer in here. Not real sure what else we'll put here yet.

Looking into the kitchen.

The kitchen with my pink accessories! :) Tip #1: I do NOT recommend tiled kitchen counters. Tip #2: I do NOT recommend white counters. Tip #3: I do NOT recommend electric ranges. I do have plenty of counter and cupboard space, which is VERY nice.

That's a lovely pink tea kettle! :)

This is in the breakfast nook area of the kitchen.

My first halloween decorations!:)

The dining room...i need window treatments! And the medusa looking lamp is also going.

Our china cabinet and wedding present from momma and daddy (coats).

Yes, try to contain yourselves...it's the hallway! :) Our bedroom is the last door on the right. The bathroom is the first door on the right and then there are 2 guest rooms on the left. The remaining guest rooms are downstairs. We really haven't even been downstairs at all. I don't think we'll need it. Unless everyone comes out at once...which is fine with us! :)

Our bedroom. It's not very big. There is a very small full bath off this room, which we don't use. This is the new bedroom outfit we bought when we got out here, which I LOVE! :) We got a really good deal on the dining room table and chairs and this outfit at a place that was going out of business. And of course the quilt that grammy made us looks amazing!

This is the best part of the bathroom...the shabby chic shower curtain. Haha! The rest of the bathroom doesn't differ much from everyone else's.

This is the laundry room/where Izzy sleeps room. It's between the bathroom and kitchen.

The kitchen from the laundry room looking back down into the living room.
So there's our humble abode. It's a work in progress. We don't want to put too much money into it though. Hopefully we'll be moving home before too long. :)
EVERYONE COME AND VISIT US!!!!! PLEASE!

I love the welcome mat with the leaves...
I spy: Raja in the living room chair and "Jerk" written on your fridge :)
I'm LOVING your hutch (i hadn't seen it yet! And I love shabby-chic) as well as your bedroom suit.
Where'd you get your Halloween blocks? - those are cool.
Yeh, the "Medusa lamp" - what would have to go.
Don't know if you remember, but we had an electric range when we first moved in here - HATED IT. Jeff actually installed a gas one for me himself for my birthday 3 years back...it's not hard to do, Jed could probably do that for you (although I don't know if you'd want to invest in it or not, but man - it makes cooking easier I think!)
Haha I forgot I had written that on the fridge! I don't even remember why now. We got the blocks at target! yay! It's not a good thing living 20 minutes from target! :)
Haha! I recognize some items from the gift shop on Belmont! They fit right in!
yep yep! I may need to stock up on more items when I come home! Maybe some christmas items?? :)
you will definitely have to stop back in. Karen just put up an dentire hutch of Christmas candles, and she is starting to make room all over for Christmas stuff. It will be here before we know it!
